Dentures & Partials Nixa, MO

Missing teeth can be both an emotional and physical dental health issue, affecting the daily quality of life and your self-confidence. Nixa dentists Dr. Jacob McLauchlin and Dr. Tyler Bare offer patients several alternatives for the replacement of missing teeth, including cosmetic dentures. Today’s dentures can offer a more comfortable, aesthetic, and lasting result due to the recent advances in materials and treatment planning.

Dentures can be secured with dental implants, a process known as “all-on-four”, for a secure, permanent result that will enable your denture to function much like natural teeth.

The Denture Process: What to Expect

Dr. McLauchlin or Dr. Bare will begin your treatment process with a thorough examination of your dental health and a discussion of your personal concerns and goals. In this way, successful and lasting treatment is the result of a collaboration between dentist and patient. We want you to understand your treatment options and expected results as a partner in your overall healthcare.

Dentures can be either full or partial, used to replace several teeth or an entire arch of teeth. Dr. McLauchlin or Dr. Bare will take impressions of your teeth and gums to be used in the fabrication of your custom denture. Once complete, any necessary tooth extractions will be scheduled and a temporary denture will be placed until your final restoration is ready.

Your new full or partial denture will be fabricated in a dental lab using high-quality materials that will be matched to your natural tooth color. Once complete, we will make any last-minute adjustments needed to ensure a snug and comfortable fit.

Benefits of Implant Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures, simply known as implant dentures, have an extremely high success rate and level of patient satisfaction. While there is a greater investment for implant dentures, they do provide superior long-term benefits over removable dentures.

  • Secure fit, no worries about dentures falling out when you eat or speak
  • Improved bone retention, implants help to prevent bone loss
  • Ability to eat foods without restrictions
  • No adhesives necessary
