Description:
Mac Dental is looking to hire a Part-time Registered Dental Hygienist to add to our all – star team to work on Fridays and an occasional day / week that another hygienist is out. Our ideal candidate will add to the positive work culture that our whole team is dedicated to upholding and provide exceptional care for our patients and our community.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the established work culture, care for patients by making them feel comfortable and heard, and be a genuinely good person
- Perform a variety of procedures to provide comprehensive dental hygiene care
- Administer local anesthesia
- Create and present treatment plans to patients
- Assist to the team effort of maintaining sterilization
- Laugh at jokes even if they aren’t that funny… whether told by patients or our Doctors
- Engagement in team and department meetings
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the administration team
Education and skills required:
- Active Missouri RDH license
- BLS certification
- Customer service experience and fantastic communication skills
- Ability to pull off an occasional prank
- Computer skills that are better than the average 75-year-old
- Desire to fine tune chair side and people skills
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Eaglesoft experience
- ITero and Invisalign experience
- Understanding of sleep apnea
- Treatment planning experience / understanding of PPO insurances
- Original and classic dad jokes
- 1+ year(s) of chairside experience as an RDH or DA
- A mutual love for sweets and treats!
